The new advertisement for the Playstation Move motion controller was released on YouTube recently and has created a buzz in the gaming community. The video mocks the Nintendo Wii and Xbox Natal in a funny manner.
Will the Playstation Move be enough to conquer its enemies, the Nintendo Wii and upcoming Xbox Natal?
This is the official updated Top 10 (source from Alexa.com)website list for the United States. I am very surprised that Twitter isn’t in the top 10 yet, but they are crawling fast at number 12. Out of all of these websites, the ones I do NOT visit are Live.com and MySpace.com.
Do you think that Facebook will ever take over #1 place to bump off Google? Which of the top 10 don’t you visit?
Are you like most people who own a cell phone, and choose to keep your charger plugged into an outlet while the phone isn’t present? Well as you may or may not know, although the cell phone isn’t plugged into the charger, electricity is still being drawn from the outlet. So AT&T has come up with a new product solution that will turn this whole situation around.
The all new eco-friendly AT&T Zero Charger will stop drawing an electrical charge when your cell phone is not plugged into it. AT&T announced this product Wednesday and said that it will retail for $29.99.
The AT&T Zero Charger automatically senses when a mobile phone is not plugged into the charger and it cuts the power supply from the wall outlet. Cell phones use very little power when charging, but if you add it up over a few years, the amount would be large.
Sounds like a great product and I think I may get one for my Blackberry since it seems like they will be a supported mobile device.
Today Facebook announced that is opening a support center in India to help better serve its U.S. and international customers.
Don Faul, Facebook’s director of global online operations said “As more and more people share and connect on Facebook, we are growing our operations and teams to support them around the world”.
“Seventy percent of the people using Facebook are outside the U.S. and are accessing the service from more than 70 languages,” said Faul.
India contributes more than 8 million members to Facebook.
This isn’t too hard to believe since all of the big companies use India for their tech support. The news has a lot of members on numerous websites angry because of the support they are used to from other businesses who use India for customer help. I myself hate calling help hotlines and never do unless I have no other options left. I can never understand what they are saying and it just adds more frustration towards my problem that is already happened.
What do you think of Facebook and tech support located in India?
You may have noticed a new add-on for your Twitter account called location sharing. This new feature grabs geographical information and adds it to your tweets.
So now when you say “I’m out eating seafood…I think it just moved!” your followers will also see that you are enjoying your dinner in Chicago, or whichever location you’re at.
It is an optional feature that can be activated or deactivated in your account settings so for those of you who worry about sharing locations, you can simply turn it off.
While this is a cool idea and adds a little extra spark to Twitter, some may find this useless or scary. I am sure it is something that may worry parents and will create a buzz around the internet about privacy. I find it pointless for myself since I do not wish to share where I am every time I tweet, but that is usually just sitting at my computer blogging.
According to the team at Investor Village and other sources, the unofficial count for iPad units sold yesterday was around 120,000. Apple is allowing pre-orders on their website and the iPad will be released on April 3, 2010.
Statistics show that more customers actually chose the less expensive model (Wi-Fi only) over the 3G version. That makes sense since it is just $400 alone for the bottom line model, which is still a huge price tag if you ask me.
Estimated revenue earned for the first day of iPad sales was $75 million. This should help Apple stocks soar higher, even after they broke their record for the highest stock price, just last week.
According to the NY Times, Facebook will soon allow users to share their location in status updates. Next month Facebook will be adding a new feature to the status update, which will allow you to share your exact location when you update. Facebook updated their privacy policy back in November which now shows, “When you share your location with others or add a location to something you post, we treat that like any other content you post.”
Facebook seems to keep getting more and more unsecure and a dangerous. This new feature could very well be used by stalkers and random people you do not even know. I can understand that kids may want to share where there are with friends, but most people have a friends list of hundreds or thousands which includes people they don’t know, or others they can’t trust. I am sure you will be able to disable it in the privacy settings, but this creates a threat for many users, not to mention worry parents about what may happen to their children.
I say it is a huge mistake by Facebook and all of these new changes are making me want to stay away from that site. What do you think?

Officially announced here. Google has updated their shopping site for mobile users by providing Product Search with local inventory, which allows you to see what is in stock at stores near you. As of right now if you are shopping for products sold by Best Buy, Sears, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, or West Elm you will be able to see the feature. Google says “just look for the blue dot”. By clicking the blue dot, you will be taken to the seller’s page where you will see if the item is in stock at a specific location. It will also show the distance of the stores.
So far the new Shopping feature supports iPhone, Palm WebOS phone, and any Android-powered device. If you’re in the US, go to Google.com on your phone, click the “more” link, and then select “Shopping”.
Sounds like a great new addition to finding products on the web, especially if you are in an area that you aren’t familiar with and want to find what’s in stock near you.
