So now all of the insides are put together. Place the side cover of the case back on. Plug in all of your cables for mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc. Power up the computer. It should make a single short beep for a successful boot up. Insert your Operating System CD. Restart
When it displays the message “Press any key to boot off CD” (You may have to go into your BIOS and choose Boot from CD first in order to get the cd to boot, this can be done by pressing F8 after turning on your computer, and going to the BIOS setup), press any key and follow the Install Setup. When it gives you an option for formatting your hard drive. Choose “Full NTFS” Format. Follow the setup.
Once your Windows is successfully installed, install your driver CDs that were provided with your motherboard, video card, and any other devices. Restart and you should be all set. Enjoy your new custom built computer!
