This is such a cool camera. I’ve been looking a while for a small pocket-able camera. I tried to get by with the built in video capability of my digicam, but it just can’t compare to some of the sample video I’ve seen on these small HD camcorders like the Flip Ultra HD.
I’ve been deciding actually between the Flip or the Kodak Zi8. Which one do you think is actually better? This post compares the two cameras, but I’m still undecided…

Hey Sally. The Flip HD is great for usage every once in a while for someone who isn’t a professional and doesn’t need the best of the best. The quality of the video is excellent on it but the Kodak does beat it in quality. The battery life and amount of video it can hold is also lower than the Kodak. This is mainly due to the size.
If you travel a lot or just want something small to put in your pocket so you can take some nice video and then upload it to your PC, I would choose the Flip.
